Curtis Scott has to learn everyone's name and how to share accommodation with school children before he can start thinking about what position he'll play to at his new NRL home. And even though the former Melbourne Storm centre admits Canberra is one of the last places he expected to land, he says the Green Machine can give him the fresh start he needs. Scott landed in Canberra and moved into a temporary home at the AIS on Monday before starting Raiders pre-season training on Tuesday as he takes the first steps of a four-year deal. The 22-year-old was a surprise off-season recruit for the Raiders, bolstering the grand-finalist's back line after the departure of Jordan Rapana. His arrival has cast doubt over the long-term future of Joey Leilua, but the pair could find themselves teaming up on the Raiders' right side when the 2020 season begins in March.
