Brilliant Benji becomes Canberra villain

South Sydney have made it seven wins on the bounce ahead of a rematch with Melbourne next week, coming from behind to beat the Raiders in the nation's capital.

Wayne Bennett's tactical switch to move Benji Marshall to five-eighth and Cody Walker to fullback while Latrell Mitchell is sidelined looked good last week, and that gamble has continued to pay off.

While Marshall turned heads with a magnificent cut-out pass to Alex Johnston for Souths' first try, it's was the Cody Walker show for the remaining hour or so, with the Bunnies trailing 16-8 a few minutes before the interval against a brave Raiders team that had lost halfback George Williams in the warmup, and were playing Elliott Whitehead in the halves.
