Confusion reigns ahead of Raiders-Titans clash on the Gold Coast

The Canberra Raiders' game against the Titans is still on, despite what appears to be incorrect reports of coronavirus cases on the Gold Coast. Raiders chief executive Don Furner spoke to his Gold Coast counterpart on Tuesday. Titans boss Steve Mitchell has spoken to Queensland's chief health officer and was assured there were no cases on the glitter strip. There have been reports of a Gold Coast man being linked to a party in Byron Bay. It means the Raiders-Titans clash scheduled for Saturday night will currently still go ahead as planned.
