Canberra Raiders skipper Jarrod Croker is set to spend some time on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury in the first half against North Queensland.

Less than 10 minutes into the round 18 clash at GIO Stadium, Croker went down awkwardly with little contact while trying to collect a knock-on by the Cowboys.

Croker was given medical attention by Raiders trainers and after some taping, he was quickly back in action on the field. He put on a brave face and helped set up Canberra's second try to Michael Oldfield, but while attempting to catch a bomb in Cowboys territory later in the game, he went down again.
