Adam Elliott is a longshot of joining the Canberra Raiders, but the Green Machine offering the sacked Canterbury Bulldogs forward a career lifeline is not out of the question. The Raiders don't have a lot of space in their salary cap to accommodate the 26-year-old, who has played 101 NRL games, plus it's believed there's a Wests Tigers contract on the table. Elliott can play in the middle or on an edge, with the Raiders looking to cover the loss of three experienced props - Sia Soliola (retired), Dunamis Lui (uncontracted) and Ryan James (Brisbane Broncos). North Queensland youngster Peter Hola's popped up on their radar as a possible signing to bolster their middle forward stocks as well. Hola's contracted to the Cowboys for next year, but he's someone the Green Machine are considering making a play for.
