The Canberra Raiders will keep an eye on what happens with Manly before deciding what to do about flu shots and their trip to Queensland. But it could make finding middle cover even more important for the Green Machine, who are also in the midst of a middle forward injury crisis. The Raiders will travel to the Banana State to play the North Queensland Cowboys in Townsville on August 1. Under the current agreement between the NRL and the Queensland government, all NRL players are required to have had the influenza vaccination to be allowed to play there. The Raiders have three players to have the flu shot - Josh Papalii, Joe Tapine and Sia Soliola, although the latter won't be available having had surgery on a nasty face fracture.
