Canberra centre Curtis Scott is expected to be quizzed by the NRL as to why he failed to immediately report his involvement in a nightclub altercation, which came after a patron approached him about the club’s recent poor performances.
Scott’s manager said the NRL star believed the incident was so minor he didn’t think it was worth reporting to his club. He also denied reports Scott broke the man’s nose during the incident.
The Raiders said they found out about the incident via the media, after the Canberra Times broke the story on Sunday afternoon.
“I’m led to believe there was nothing much in it,” Scott’s manager, Sam Ayoub, said. “I haven’t seen the footage and hope to get a hold of it in the morning. But there was no police involved. They were separated inside and security didn’t even feel the need to even kick them out.”
