It's the coronavirus side effect that's set to divide Canberra Raiders fans depending on which side of the border you sit. Queensland's COVID-19 border policies mean Canberra-based Raiders fans can fly up for the Green Machine's preliminary final against the Melbourne Storm at Suncorp Stadium on Friday. But anyone living in Queanbeyan - or who has even been to Queanbeyan since October 2 - can't go without doing 14 days' quarantine. The same goes for any fans who went for the epic 22-18 semi-final victory over the Sydney Roosters at the SCG on Friday night. Those very restrictions will force Raiders chief executive Don Furner to watch the prelim from home, along with several members of the board who opted to head up the Hume Highway.
