The Mullins bloodline runs through the Canberra Raiders once more. The Raiders have signed James Schiller, the nephew of Green Machine great Brett Mullins, ahead of the 2022 season in a deal confirmed by Titan Sports Management. The 20-year-old is from Young and covers wing, centre and fullback - much like the man once hailed as one of rugby league's most exciting weapons in Mullins. Schiller played four games for the St George Illawarra Dragons in the NSW Cup before the COVID-19 pandemic brought the competition to a grinding halt this year. He scored three tries and broke 15 tackles during four 80-minute outings against North Sydney, Mounties, Newtown and Wests.
