Dally M medalist Jack Wighton has followed up his best year on the field with the biggest offseason of his life. On the verge of his return to the field in Saturday's NRL All Stars match, a relaxed Wighton spoke about the huge few months which followed Canberra's preliminary final exit in October last year. In January he proposed to his partner Monisha while the couple also announced they were expecting a third child. It follows a huge year off the field for Wighton and his family, who moved to a rural property just outside of Canberra last year. "I like it mate, it's only a little block but something to do every day, the girls are loving it now, they've got a little pony," Wighton said.
