Test forward Frank-Paul Nuuausala has joined the Canberra Raiders after being granted a release from the final year of his NRL contract at the Sydney Roosters.
The 27-year-old New Zealander has signed a three-year deal with the Raiders to play under his former coach at the Roosters, Ricky Stuart.
"It can never be under-estimated the important contribution Frank has made to the Roosters in his time here," said Roosters coach Trent Robinson of Nuuausala, who played in the Roosters' premiership-winning side of 2013.
"The type of player who prefers to let his actions do the talking on the footy field, its been an honour to watch Frank develop as a leader among our forwards over the past few years."
