Raiders under 20s' late barrage leaves Titans scrambling

A spirited second-half surge helped the Canberra under 20s seal their first win of the season over Gold Coast at Canberra Stadium on Sunday night.

Trailing 16-12 at half-time, the Raiders piled on six tries to one after the break to win 44-22 and finally get off the mark in season 2014.

Last year's preliminary finalists had lost their opening two games against North Queensland and Townsville.

Three tries in the space of 10 minutes early in the second half to back-rower Tevita Pangai and wingers Jake Wheeler and Lachlan Hurst allowed Canberra to take a stranglehold on the match.
