Bulldogs belting 'nothing' without a Warriors whipping

RAIDERS skipper David Shillington said Friday night's comprehensive win over the top-of-the-table Bulldogs would count for nothing if Canberra could not complete its fairytale run to the NRL finals by beating the New Zealand Warriors next Sunday.

The Raiders coaching staff has given players two days off after Friday's 34-6 victory to rest and relax, but the parting message has kept players on their toes - we've dropped our bundle in this situation before.

Canberra's finals destiny is back in its own hands after winning eight of its past 11 matches, and victory over the Warriors will ensure a finals berth.

But the Raiders have already emphasised to each other they will need to back up the performance they showed against the Bulldogs, having displayed a bad habit of knocking off top teams and then misfiring the next week.
