History puts Storm upset in context for Raiders

The last time Canberra upset Melbourne, they were jeered off the field by their own fans the next week. The painful reality check dished out by Gold Coast last year will ensure the Raiders keep a lid on things after their boilover win over the Storm.

Canberra smashed Melbourne 40-12 at AAMI Park in round 18 last season, only to crash back to earth 38-26 against the Titans at Canberra Stadium.

The Green Machine faithful booed the side off at half-time, and only a couple of late Canberra tries added respectability.

Despite the enormity of the win, Canberra's celebrations were low key after Saturday night's 24-20 victory in Melbourne, easily the biggest upset of the NRL season to date.
