Raiders NYC team unchanged for Preliminary Final
Canberra Raiders NYC Coach Mick Mantelli has selected the same side that defeated the reigning premiers Wests Tigers 36-16 last week for their preliminary final against the Penrith Panthers on Saturday afternoon.
Jeremy Hawkins was a late addition to the line-up in the win over the Tigers and after capping a fine all-round game with a scintillating try, the damaging outside back retains his place in the side, albeit from the interchange bench.
The Panthers finished second to the Raiders on the ladder after 26 rounds and will prove a huge task for the Green Machine, however one that they are most definitely equipped to accomplish.
Penrith defeated Canberra 40-16 in round one whilst the Raiders extracted revenge in round 14, defeating the Panthers 32-18.
