No excuses for Toyota Cup sideCanberra Raiders Toyota Cup coach Andrew Dunemann has revealed that there are no excuses for his talented side not to win this Saturday’s preliminary final against the St George Illawarra Dragons at ANZ Stadium.
A win over the Dragons will see the young Raiders advance to their first Toyota Cup grand final since Josh Dugan, Jarrod Croker, Shaun Fensom and co won the inaugural competition in 2008.
The Raiders were nursing a few niggling injuries leading into the sides miraculous 39-38 victory over defending premiers the New Zealand Warriors fortnight ago, however the week’s rest following the win has allowed Dunemann to name an injury free and fully fit outfit to take on the Dragons.
