Their uncles are rugby league royalty, but Canberra Raiders S.G. Ball coach Peter Marrapodi has backed his halves pairing Lachlan Croker and Lachlan Lewis to avoid being burdened by their famous surnames.
Croker's uncle is Canberra Raiders games record holder Jason, while Lewis is the nephew of Immortal and Queensland Origin legend Wally.
While both played strongly, the Raiders still lost its elimination final to Newcastle 46-28 at Campbelltown on Saturday.
Zac Woolford, son of former Raiders hooker and skipper Simon, also featured at dummy half.
