Raiders Year in Review – Josh Dugan

With the long off-season now upon us we’re going to take time to look at the Raiders players and see what sort of season you think they’ve had.

At the bottom of each section we’re encouraging fans to put down what they think the best moment was for each player and wish them good luck for the off-season.

We start with Josh Dugan, who’s had an up and down year to say the least. After picking up the Preston Campbell medal for the best player in the NRL All-Stars match, Dugan started the regular season with injury hampering his early round efforts.

The Raiders star found form ahead of State of Origin One and looked as if he had turned the corner on his injured run early in the year, but suffered another setback soon after when he picked up an ankle injury against the Cowboys.

His season remained largely injury interrupted and he struggled to get some consistent time on the paddock, but at times showed the brilliance that Raiders fans know he possesses.

The highlight in green this year for Dugan came against the Dragons in round 20, when he scored the match winning try against St George-Illawarra in the dying seconds, to keep the Raiders hoodoo over the Red V alive and kicking in Canberra.
