The 2016 season brought the return of a senior presence for the North Canberra Bears, who were absent from Canberra football for almost 30 years. The Club is proud to now provide the progression path for our junior club, the North Canberra Bears Minor Rugby League Football Club.
The 2017 season has delivered the Club a Ladies League Tag (Open Age) team and also a Youth League (Under 18’s) team. This further develops the Club’s membership base and diversifies what has already become both a proud and strong brand.
In the Club’s first year, all expectations were well and truly exceeded, as the Bears return delivered the 2016 Premiers Trophy.
The teams all understand the pressure that comes with the success that was achieved last year and although all of our members wish to emulate it all over again, every person involved in the club understands the dedication required to get back there.
