Canberra halfback Sam Williams will miss Sunday's NRL clash with St George Illawarra after suffering a punctured lung, but the club is hopeful the injury won't keep him out long term.
Williams spent two nights in hospital after playing through the pain when injured during Saturday's 56-16 drubbing of Gold Coast at GIO Stadium.
He was released on Monday morning and has been ordered to rest at home for the rest of the week.
