Round 11 Tips

Here’s our previews and tips for all the Round 11 matches. Have you done your tips yet? Leave them in the comments below for those who are still deciding.Friday May 22South Sydney Rabbitohs v Parramatta EelsANZ Stadium, 7.45pm

Neither side has been hugely hit by Origin, with only Inglis (QLD) and Hopoate (NSW) called into camp for the Rabbitohs and Eels respectively. Parramatta produced one of the upsets of the seasons to beat the Rabbitohs last time they met in round four. The Eels sit on the bottom now though South Sydney has moved up to seventh. The Rabbitohs should atone for their loss earlier in the season.

Rabbitohs by 8Saturday May 23Wests Tigers v North Queensland CowboysCampbelltown Stadium, 7.30pm

A win to the Cowboys will see them record their greatest ever winning streak in club history. But it will take all of their strength, as they will be without Thurston and Morgan who are in Queensland Origin camp and Robert Lui who is out injured. The Tigers fought hard last week despite the 10 point loss to the Knights. We’re still tipping the Cowboys in this one though against the inconsistent Tigers.

Cowboys by 4Sunday May 24Canberra Raiders v Canterbury BulldogsGIO Stadium, 4pm

The Bulldogs will be without four of their regulars, while the Raiders have not been affected by Origin week. Josh Morris, Trent Hodkinson, Josh Jackson and David Klemmer are all out due to Blues duties. The outs for the Bulldogs will make it even harder for the struggling side, who have lost their past three games. The Raiders will have a near full strength side.

Raiders by 10Monday May 25Newcastle Knights V Brisbane BroncosHunter Stadium, 7pm

The Broncos are missing Justin Hodges, Darius Boyd, Corey Parker, Sam Thaiday, Matt Gillett and Josh McGuire to Queensland Origin duty. The Knights on the other hand are only missing Beau Scott to the Blues. Newcastle won’t get a better chance to beat the Broncos, who have been in good form this season, with seven wins from ten games. The Knights had a good win last week over the Tigers and we’re tipping them to follow up with another win here.

Knights by 8

Byes: Gold Coast Titans, Melbourne Storm, Sydney Roosters, Penrith Panthers, Cronulla Sharks, Manly Sea-Eagles, New Zealand warriors.
