Despite leading at the half-way mark, Canberra has succumbed to a 42-22 loss to St George Illawarra after the Dragons blew the Raiders off the park in the second half.
Whilst it was an unfortunate result, a silver lining from the defeat was the fact that winger Lachlan Hurst scored his 24th try for the year which sees him placed as the Holden Cup's equal leading try scorer.
