Queanbeyan Blues 52 defeated West Belconnen Warriors 12 at Raiders BelconnenLevi Freeman earned bragging rights in the Freeman household after his Queanbeyan Blues smashed brother Tori’s West Belconnen Warriors on Saturday afternoon.
There was plenty of banter in the lead up to the game with Levi remarking “Yeah there has been a bit of banter going on. He’s put on a bit of weight this year so he reckons he’s going to smash me.”
While Tori certainly held his own in the contest, it was Levi who had the last laugh, scoring a terrific try as the Blues tore West Belconnen apart.
The win now sees Queanbeyan three points clear on top of the TTM Canberra Raiders Cup ladder and leading the competition statistically in attack and defence.
Conversely the Warriors are still win-less at the bottom of the ladder.
