The Wests Tigers' interest in Canberra Raiders centre Curtis Scott lasted just 24 hours. Wests chief executive Justin Pascoe told the Raiders on Thursday they were no longer pursuing the 23-year-old - a day after the Tigers had raised the possibility of taking him on loan for the rest of the 2021 NRL season. It means Scott will resume training at the Raiders centre of excellence on Friday, when he'll have completed his two weeks' isolation since returning to his Canberra home from Sydney. Scott's unlikely to join the Green Machine in Queensland, where they're looking increasingly likely to see out the season after initially going up for four weeks. As a sign of that, some of the Raiders players were having their cars transported up to the Gold Coast for them and their families to use.
