The Canberra Raiders under-20s leapt to the top of the Toyota Cup table with a thrilling 28-22 comeback win over Penrith at Centrebet Stadium yesterday.After the Warriors' shock slip-up against North Queensland on Saturday, the Raiders needed two late tries to replace them in the competition lead.
Livewire five-eighth Anthony Milford, who has recently begun contract extension talks with the Raiders, was again outstanding.
Wingers Jeremy Hawkins and Jonathon Reuben both scored braces to help guide Canberra to a third straight win, against the fourth-placed Panthers. Hawkins in particular was brilliant, racking up five line breaks, nine tackle breaks and 170 metres in a virtuoso performance.
