NYC Round 7 Preview: Raiders v CowboysThe Canberra Raiders under 20s side travels to Townsville this Saturday to take on the North Queensland in their round seven Holden Cup fixture.
The Raiders currently sit third on the latter after a hard fought draw with the New Zealand Warriors almost two weeks ago.
The Green Machine had to work hard for their competition point as they trailed the Warriors for most of the match. Canberra pulled ahead in the 72nd minute when Anthony Milford laid on Brenko Lee’s third try of the game, however, the visitors levelled the score two minutes later with a penalty goal to Mason Lino.
There was concern late in the second half for Raiders hooker Mitch Frawley who was stretched off after being knocked unconscious by what appeared to be a shoulder charge from Warriors winger Viliami Kaveinga.
