Super League-bound George Griffin completed a near-perfect gap year yesterday, helping secure the Canberra Raiders Cup with his adopted Queanbeyan Kangaroos.
The 19-year-old Englishman joined the club just weeks before the season started and his consistency in Australia paid off last month when the Hull Kingston Rovers swooped to sign Griffin on a two-year deal.
