Tough Frawley lifts Scholars over Bushrangers

IT WAS just his fourth game back from a shocking head injury, but hooker Matt Frawley showed he wouldn't shirk the tough stuff by helping Belconnen United to a crucial 20-18 win over Tuggeranong on Saturday.

Three months ago, Frawley suffered brain bruising and was taken to hospital for observation after he was the victim of a shoulder charge from Warriors player Viliami Kaveinga playing for Canberra's under-20 team.

He was ordered to take a few weeks off by club medical officials, and returned four weeks ago for the Scholars.
