Round 8 of the Austbrokers Canberra Raiders Cup is highlighted by the Belconnen derby.

It's been over a year since the Belconnen United Sharks won a First Grade game but their last win came against this week's opponents.

However, that match is a distant memory according to Sharks prop, Channon McAskill.

"We're just focusing on what we want to try and get right for this weekend," McAskill said. "There's a bit of a changeup in the squad for this week and hopefully we can get out there and give Westies a good run."
