The Queensland Maroons have named their team for Sunday night's State of Origin II against New South Wales at ANZ Stadium.
The 20-year-old fullback has been outstanding for the Newcastle Knights this season and has been named to replace Anthony Milford in the 18-man squad in Origin II, with Billy Slater named despite still carrying the hamstring injury that ruled him out of game one.
"He's been playing some good football for the Newcastle Knights this year and he's been knocking on the door – he was very close [to being selected] for game one," Queensland coach Kevin Walters said.
