Not long until kick off in the Holden Cup under 20s Raiders v Panthers! Go mighty Raiders!

FIRST HALF

We have kick off in the Holden Cup under 20s clash between the Raiders and Panthers at Centrebet Stadium! Raiders footy is back for 2013! Go boys!

Panthers score first with a try to Wilson out wide on the wing. Conversion successful Penrith lead Raiders 6-0 after 6 mins in the under 20s.

Raiders have lost a bit of size in the pack due to players becoming too old in the off season. Both teams working their way into the match. Milford looks good as usual.

Panthers score again off a loose ball that was touched by Milford and then regathered by Panthers. Scarlett scores and converts and Panthers lead Raiders 12-0 after 15 minutes. Raiders force a goal line drop off the kick off restart after Panthers let it go dead.

Yes!! Milford creates a try with some great footwork and gives a great ball to Irwin who plants the ball down in the corner. Great try! Milford takes conversion and misses. Panthers lead Raiders 12-4 after 20 mins.

Panthers score after Raiders let the ball go dead off the kick restart after their try. Dunley scores, conversion successful. This is quite a messy game as both sides work their way into the match. To be expected in round 1. Panthers lead Raiders 18-4 after 24 mins.

Raiders Blake Seager has injured his lower leg in a tackle and has come off.

Panthers are in again. Raiders just couldn't hold them out after repeat tackles inside the 20 meters. Conversion missed, Panthers lead Raiders 22-4 after 31 minutes. 

Historic moment as Raiders make the first challenge to a ref call in 2013 as part of new rules. Ref ruled knock on. Challenge unsuccessful and knock on stands.

Panthers score again after their halfback Scarlett created a try with an offload close to the line for Yeo to score. Conversion successful, Panthers lead 28-4 after 38 minutes.

Half time Panthers lead Raiders 28-4 in the Holden cup under 20s. Raiders have found it hard to find their way into the match and are playing with a bit too much depth in attack. No doubt that Raiders have the skill to get back into the game in the second half if they play well.

SECOND HALF

Kick off to the second half of under 20s at Centrebet Stadium. Panthers are leading Raiders 28-4.

Panthers score first in the second half through Zelezniak out on the wing. Conversion successful and Panthers lead Raiders 34-4 after 47 minutes.

Raiders hit back with a great try to Milford off a great pass from Cornish. Signs are there that Raiders can come back if they play like that. Conversion successful and Panthers lead Raiders 34-10 after 52 minutes.

Milford goes in again! Gee he is a classy player. Creates a great run for Creith down the sideline then steps and scores off the next play. Milford lines up the conversion and gets it. Panthers lead Raiders 34-16 after 60 mins. Still plenty of time!

Raiders have been much better in the second half but still look a bit off the pace. If they had played like the have in the second in the first half it would be a much closer game thats for sure. Still Panthers leading 34-16 with 10 mins left.

Irwin looks like has been knocked out but is awake again now after getting his head in the wrong place in a tackle. Looks ok but is coming off anyway.

Panthers score a long range try after swooping on a rebounded kick. Jenninings gets across, conversion successful and panthers lead Raiders 40-16 in the under 20s with 1 minute to go.

Full time in the under 20s, Panthers defeat Raiders 40-16. Raiders did well in the second half but couldn't make up for their slow start in the first. NRL coming up next!
