Raiding the Raiders: UK Super League club pounces to sign Sezer

Aidan Sezer has been granted a release from the Canberra Raiders to join the Huddersfield Giants in the English Super League on a two-year deal.The star playmaker had one season left on his deal with the 2019 runners-up but he was deemed surplus to requirements and allowed to join the English club.

Sezer’s future had been a source of much conjecture since Raiders coach Ricky Stuart signed English Test halfback George Williams on a three-year deal from 2020 back in July.
