Tuggeranong Bushrangers (4) v Queanbeyan Kangaroos (2) on Saturday at 3:00pm at GreenwayTuggeranong will look to keep their semi-finals dreams alive when they take on the second placed Queanbeyan Kangaroos on Saturday afternoon at home.
The Bushrangers’ finals aspirations are hanging as a week-to-week proposition with both Woden Valley and Goulburn also fighting for that fourth spot.
Tuggeranong is determined to make amends for a disappointing campaign in 2012 in which they finished second last.
“Injuries hit us hard last year and we ended up with a pretty disappointing finish,” said Tuggeranong Captain-Coach Jared Teka. “We focused on having a much better season this year after we recruited well in the off-season.
“Getting into the finals was our goal right from the start of the year. We need to win our remaining games to get us there and we’re all ready to rip in.”
Queanbeyan defeated Tuggeranong 30-12 in round seven however the Bushrangers must prepare themselves for a far more brutal encounter this time around.
