Canberra young gun Jack Wighton says the hype earmarking him as a future State of Origin fullback is all talk and he still has a lot of improving to do before donning a NSW Blues jersey.
Wighton has been an NRL revelation in the Raiders' No.1 jersey since making it his own late last year.
He then kicked off 2015 with a two-try match winning performance over Cronulla, and looked just as lively in round two against the Warriors until an eye-socket injury "rattled him" for the remainder of the match and forced him to sit the next.
While many NRL experts have touted Wighton for future representative honours, the 22-year-old labelled it as "just a lot of talk" and added he remained focussed on improving his game - starting against Manly in Albury this Saturday.
