The Canberra Raiders Holden Cup will head to Hunter Stadium this Easter Sunday to take on the Newcastle Knights.
The Junior Raiders enjoyed a comfortable win over the St George Illawarra at Canberra Stadium last Sunday afternoon. Fullback Anthony Milford played a particularly prominent role against the Dragons, setting up three tries and scoring two himself in the 42-22 triumph.
According to Raiders coach Mick Mantelli the win was built on a strong first half from his side in which the players successfully executed a number of the set moves they’d been practicing at training.
“All our structures finally came in to play,” Mantelli said “Stuff that we’d been having problems timing during the past couple of weeks came together.”
