Canberra have locked up boom five-eighth Blake Austin on a long-term deal, signing him to a one-year contract extension that will keep him at the NRL club until the end of 2018.
Austin has blossomed in the No.6 jersey under coach Ricky Stuart this year and has rocketed into NSW State of Origin calculations.
The 24-year-old moved from the Wests Tigers to the nation's capital at the start of the year and was an instant success in the starting halves role.
"We're all really excited about what's going on here at the Raiders and to be a part of it for the next three years is going to be awesome," Austin said.
"There's a great group of boys here which has made the transition feel really seamless and my partner loves Canberra too so it made it a really easy decision for me."
