Tuggeranong Bushrangers 34 defeated Gungahlin Bulls 22 at Greenway

The Tuggeranong Bushrangers have retained their position in the TTM Canberra Raiders Cup’s top four after a comprehensive 12 point victory over the Gungahlin Bulls.

In what could prove potentially problematic at the business end of the season, the winning margin for the Bushrangers could have been much bigger had it not been for their inaccurate goal kicking.

Tuggeranong converted only three goals from seven conversion attempts.

Regardless, the Bushrangers recorded a vital win over the Bulls to retain their fourth place standing.

Backline stars Brendan Brophy, Chris Faaee, Lachlan Hurst and Carl Johnson all crossed for tries for Tuggeranong as the side’s forward pack were able to dominate their Gungahlin counterparts.

With Woden Valley Rams and Goulburn Workers Bulldogs nipping at their heels, Tuggeranong will line-up for arguably their biggest match of the season when they take on the second placed Queanbeyan Kangaroos next weekend.
