Dunemann quick to deal with upheaval

INTERIM Canberra Raiders coach Andrew Dunemann is adamant his team will not suffer from a week of turmoil and declared the Green Machine is ready to get its finals campaign on track.

The end of the David Furner era will become a reality when Dunemann leads the Raiders for the first time in a clash against the fourth-placed Manly Sea Eagles at Canberra Stadium on Sunday.

Dunemann will graduate from Furner's understudy to the main man for a match that Canberra must win to keep its season alive.

The Raiders board shocked the NRL when it sacked Furner on Tuesday.

But Dunemann insists there's no extra pressure on the players to perform, despite suggestions player power was a significant factor in Furner's sacking.
