Full schedule to close 2012 season



A full entertainment package at Mount Smart Stadium and an after-match function at The Nation’s Clubrooms at SKYCITY will be among the features of the day when the Vodafone Warriors wind up their 2012 campaign tomorrow.

Highlights of the entertainment programme at Mount Smart Stadium include:

• A major prize giveaway from match day sponsor Vodafone – an NRL grand final package – for the Vodafone Ultimate SuperFan; the supreme winner will be revealed at halftime during the NRL match between the Vodafone Warriors and Canberra

• All Vodafone Warriors members have been invited to take part in a march around the field after the NYC match between the Vodafone Junior Warriors and Canberra

• SKYCITY Cheer Team performances before the NRL match and at halftime

• Post-match presentations (and big screen montages) for departing players Micheal Luck, Lewis Brown, James Maloney, Ukuma Ta’ai, Omar Slaimankhel and Ivan Penehe

After the match, all Vodafone Warriors members and fans are invited to the season-ending after-match function at The Nation’s Clubrooms at SKYCITY.

The entire Vodafone Warriors NRL squad will be in attendance mixing and mingling with members and fans.

During the event SKYCITY prize packs will be presented to the players’ player of the day winners in each of the Vodafone Warriors’ last nine matches of the season including tomorrow’s encounter with the Raiders. Rookie fullback Carlos Tuimavave has picked up the accolade in two of his first four NRL matches.

The winners in the last eight games have been: Konrad Hurrell (Gold Coast), Simon Mannering (Brisbane), Nathan Friend and Ben Matulino (Newcastle), Sebastine Ikahihifo (Manly), Ben Matulino (Cronulla), Carlos Tuimavave (North Queensland), Ben Henry and Russell Packer (Penrith) and Carlos Tuimavave (St George Illawarra).

3.00 Vodafone Warriors members and Vodafone SuperFans assemble in D Zone at northern end of the ground to prepare for members-only march around the field

3.25 Selection of Vodafone Ultimate SuperFan contestants
3.27 Mini League: Pt Chevalier Pirates v Hauraki Tigers (under 6s and under 8s)
3.30 Vodafone Warriors and Canberra Raiders warm up
3.43 Ken Stephen Medal highlights montage on big screen including images of Elijah Taylor, the Vodafone Warriors’ nominee for 2012 award
