English Super League club Hull Kingston Rovers have another big Canberra Raiders player in their sights, targeting former Australian Kangaroos prop David Shillington.
It's understood Hull KR have made direct contact with the Raiders about Shillington's availability and his character, given the 31-year-old comes off contract at the end of the year.
Hull KR may even try to push for a mid-season transfer, given they are desperate to find a replacement for another former Raiders prop, Mick Weyman, who retired last week due to ongoing knee problems.
Shillington's future at the Raiders has appeared on shaky grounds, given he was overlooked for the first two rounds of the NRL season.
