Canberra Raiders and Samoan forward Junior Paulo has set his sights on next year's Blues side for State of Origin.
Speaking ahead of Samoa's opening World Cup game against New Zealand, Paulo said he once the tournament is over it's full steam ahead towards Origin.
"I'm definitely looking at a spot in the Blues squad and also the Australian squad, but it is the World Cup so to get the opportunity to represent my heritage and my parents' country of birth I'd definitely put my hand up," Paulo told Fairfax Media.
"State of Origin's the pinnacle of rugby league and that's something I'm aspiring to get to."
Paulo who won the Raiders' Player of the Year for 2017 was part of the Emerging Blues squad earlier this year.
