The Canberra Raiders have taken another multi-million-dollar hit following the relocation of the Green Machine for the final eight rounds of the season. Raiders chief executive Don Furner said it had been a double whammy, with their licenced clubs also taking a hit. But he said they were OK financially and hoped next year they could return to 11 home games. In signing news, the Raiders were close to finalising a one-year extension for halfback Matt Frawley, but back-up hooker Siliva Havili was set to leave the club - potentially to join the South Sydney Rabbitohs - after four years in Canberra. While Furner hadn't calculated the final hit from their shift to the Gold Coast, he said it was a significant amount.
