Moa, Fensom beat NRL judiciary charges
« on: March 25, 2015, 08:40:16 PM »
Sydney Roosters prop Sam Moa and Canberra back-rower Shaun Fensom have both beaten dangerous contact charges at the NRL judiciary on Wednesday night.

The duo are free to play in their round four encounter at Allianz Stadium on Sunday.

Moa was hit with a grade one dangerous contact head/neck or crusher tackle charge emanating from a first half hit on his Penrith opposite Brent Kite in the Roosters' win on Monday night.

Fensom was issued with the same charge for a tackle on Euan Aitken in the Raiders' loss to St George Illawarra on Saturday.

Fensom fronted the judiciary first and was found not guilty before Moa was later greeted with the same verdict.

Cronulla's Ben Barba is one of three players suspended over charges from round three.

He has been outed for two matches after taking the early plea on two charges from the Sharks loss to Melbourne.

Newcastle's Korbin Sims will also miss two NRL games over two incidents in the Knights' win over the Gold Coast.

Wests Tigers winger Pat Richards is the other player suspended.

Richards took the early plea on a grade one dangerous contact charge on Greg Inglis in South Sydney's win over the Tigers on Sunday and will miss Friday's match against Canterbury.
