Sia Soliola was invited onto the field before the match for the ceremonial first pitch.
“It was a great experience to throw the first pitch at the Cavalry game,” Soliola said.
“I missed the target unfortunately, the ball hit the ground before the catcher could get it. It was nice to receive the ball from TJ who was involved in a car crash recently and it’s great to see him out of hospital.”
“It was great to get the whole squad along to the game on Friday night and big thanks must go to David Tyack from Canberra Milk and the team from the Cavalry for making this happen.”
