A pre-season beer on Queanbeyan's main street set the wheels in motion for Bungendore's latest George Tooke Shield premiership, secured yesterday with a 28-22 win over the Binalong Brahmans.

After retiring from the Queanbeyan Blues at the end of last season, Jeremy Osborne was coaxed into extending his career one night at Walsh's Hotel and he signed on with the Tigers as captain-coach.
