The Mounties enjoyed a 22-10 win against fellow Intrust Super Premiership side the Canterbury Bulldogs in their first trial match of the year on Saturday evening.
In his first game as Mounties coach, Ryan Carr was pleased with what he saw from his side.
“I was really happy with their effort,” Carr said. “I thought their attitude in defence was great and that was something we were looking for in our first hit-out.
Carr was also pleased by the performances of the nine Raiders players in his squad.
