NSW Blues coach Brad Fittler has added Jack Wighton and Nick Cotric to his State of Origin squad, which will go into camp on the Central Coast on Monday. Wighton has been in sensational form over the finals months of the NRL season, although the Melbourne Storm were able to keep him quiet in the preliminary final at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night. The Storm went through to the NRL grand final with a 30-10 victory that ended the Raiders' 2020 season. Wighton scored nine of his 13 tries for the season in the Green Machine's final eight games. Cotric was the only Raider to cross the stripe in the prelim, his two tries taking his season total to 14 and making him Canberra's leading try scorer.
