There's been plenty of recent memorable matches against the Dragons, but this weeks Victor's Vault goes back to 1986 when the Raiders had one of their most famous victories against the Red V.
1986 was a difficult year for the Raiders. Despite going on a massive recruitment drive which saw them net internationals Mal Meninga, Gary Belcher and John Ferguson, the Raiders battled with injuries throughout the season and they only registered six wins for a 12th place finish (Second last).
However, this regular season match was a definite highlight for the Green Machine, with the lowly Raiders registering a 10-7 win against the defending minor premiers in front of 6877 fans at Seiffert Oval.
St George scored first after a cross field kick from captain Craig Young resulted in a try for winger Ricky Walford. Michael O’Connor converted from the sideline for a 6-0 lead.
