Shaun Fensom

The Canberra Raiders are hopeful Shaun Fensom's future will be resolved within the next few days as they attempt to ward off ''nibbles'' from other interested clubs.

New Zealand Warriors chief executive Wayne Scurrah has insisted they aren't aggressively chasing Fensom's signature, despite being strongly linked with the star lock.

Fensom is off contract at the end of this season, and Raiders football manager John Bonasera met face to face with his manager Isaac Moses for the first time on Wednesday.

It is understood Canberra is confident he will stay, and is working towards re-signing the 25-year-old before the start of the season.
