Milford confident of joining Broncos

Canberra Raiders fullback Anthony Milford is confident of joining the Brisbane Broncos next season despite the club being caught up in alleged salary cap breaches.

Milford will take on his future club at Canberra Stadium on the night of Monday, June 9, the first time the Queensland Origin hopeful will have faced the Broncos since confirming he would honour his two-year contract.

That contract will be scrutinised by the NRL following revelations the Broncos are claimed to have cheated the salary cap by $450,000 over the past three years.

Milford declined to comment on the issue, but his manager Sam Ayoub said it should not affect Milford's future with the Broncos.
